The risk report
Clear answers your team can act on.
Takdim gives buyers and designers an early warning, so the right items go to legal review before money is spent. It works alongside your lawyer, not instead of one.
Suggested tweak: Swap the rotating lid for a flip-top closure to move away from the closest lid patents.
Sample report for illustration. Not legal advice.
Who it's for
For everyone who decides what gets made.
Manufacturers
Check designs before sampling and production, not after the first cease-and-desist letter.
Wholesalers & importers
Screen every new item in your line before you commit to factory orders.
Retail buyers
Ask for a Takdim report as part of vendor review, and keep risky goods off your floor.
Why we built it
Born on the buying floor.

I spent 18 years as a retail buyer and merchandise manager at major national retailers. Too often I saw a product that looked fine turn out to be too close to someone else's patented design. The result was canceled orders, empty shelves and goods that had to be destroyed.
Nobody on the team was careless. We simply had no fast way to check. Takdim is the tool I wish we'd had: a quick, visual patent check that fits right into the buying and design process.

Jeremy holds a physics degree from Harvard and a Ph.D. in physics from the Technion. A patent attorney and the founder of Rutman IP, he has spent more than 15 years drafting patent applications. He is also a data scientist and developer, and leads the technology behind Takdim's image-matching system.
